My take on the task is that Marcus and Lisa will get 4 noms each and there's no way Noirin and Freddie will get 4 each as well

I just realised that Freddie aside, we have the only 1000+ post Big Brother 10 appreciation thread

Good highlights. I found the date amusing, though Marcus going on about not being able to "work her out" at the end was a bit annoying given that she's told him straight that she's not interested on several occasions.

Hoping the newbies fail.

Good highlights again. Im really not comfortable with things at the moment though.. Noirin deserves to be in the final. Based on the past 6.5 weeks, I think that along with Freddie, she has given the most story to the series so far. I think its just a horrible inevitability that the next time she's up, shes probably going out.

Im also terrified that if the newbies actually manage to pass this weeks task, and Noirin faces Freddie, she will get evicted with over 90%. It was be absolutely terrible if that happened to her. She really doesnt deserve it.

But think about it now, and I'm a pessimist:
Noirin will nom Lisa
Freddie will nom Lisa
Siavash will nom Lisa
Marcus will nom Lisa
Rodrigo could nom Lisa

Just say thats 4/8 votes, the only way Noirin will be up solely against Freddie is if they get more votes, ... even if they pass the task, I think Noirin will be up against Lisa. But those booes are turning me off now, but her popularity is growing... I'm not too happy about this Bea girl overtaking her though on the bets as we've only seen her for an hour or so and she's already beating Noirin? I mean... what?

I also feel like I cannot see Noirin winning... think about it, if the whole house were up for eviction, Lisa and her would prob go Give me optimism people! argh

Well I've been saying for a while I don't think she'll get to the final...I think she'll probably be safe this week (I think the newbies will be up) then the week after Lisa will go...after that? I don't know how she'll stay. But we can worry about that when we come to it!

It's pretty silly that Bea's overtaking her. I like Bea, but come on, Noirin's given more to the show than anyone.

I hope that the old housemates stick together, and pick of the newbies (except Bea )

I certainly think it could realistically head that way. David is alligning with Lisa, which will only mean bad things for him and Kenneth and Hira are not making good impressions. Also, if Lisa goes, I think Sophie, Rodrigo and Charlie will probably end up moving into the main group more.

If anything, this week is the biggest worry. Lisa is out either way next week, so if the newbies fail the task, Noirin will have no problems until at least Week 9.. 9/13 weeks minimum isnt a bad showing at all. Hopefully in that time, some of the newcomers will make themselves more hated too

I just made a thread, its ridiculous that people cannot see Tom is isolating Noirin to get her friends to nominate her for the task.

I am sorry, I think I'm going to sign out, I just watched the live eviction now from Australia, and I'm not going to watch my favourite get booed and chanted out. I didn't think it was that bad, but how people can chant her out, she is no Charley, no Alexandra, no Makosi - I am into psychology and I know she's being her self... keep supporting her though, but I don't think she'll last too long, the eviction was disgusting enough and these men just keep getting their way with her with the public. I will see this week if she stays in and if she does I'm not watching until the finals (If she makes it) because I know she's got not a hope in hell of winning... but work on recruiting some Noirin fans, as it appears that whoever the forums target are the ones who end up going - hence why it was lucky Karly got out. Anyway....................

Dont give up hope... I think if Noirin somehow makes it to the final week, she has a great chance at the top 3. She may have a lot of detractors, but she's currently 3rd in the favourite housemate poll, and in the middle of the least.

She's clearly not going to win, but that can be a good thing to. I personally am always happy if my favourites can make it to the end, because at the end of the day, we see the same ammount as the winners anyway. If they win, it'd be the icing on the cake.

Oh and by the way, I was actively supporting Rachel from Day 1 last year, and nobody gave her a hope in hell until the very end when people started to realise she had a growing army and an outside chance. That turned out very well, so why cant it for Noirin! Positve thoughts!

The boos from the BB crowd are often not representative of the general public's view. Aisleyne got chants from the crowd for weeks but she still finished in the top three.

Noirin is very vulnerable against anyone except Lisa or Marcus if she's up but Lisa and Marcus are far more likely to be up than Noirin, even with the current special task.

She knows and likes Hira and Bea from the auditions so she's got potential allies from the newbies.

I think there's a good chance she could make the final

Regards

Why would it make a difference if she found someone she liked romantically?

I think she's already said he's not her type but, if he was, then I don't see what the problem would be

I agree, and judging by other threads, she's friendly with Tom too

David is a hazard though..

Here we go again... I am so bored of this, now they're making out she's in bed with Tom. FFS

I agree that its a bit of a pointless non-start topic. So she's in bed with him.. Sophie's there too from what i've gathered.

Now if she was upto anything in bed with him, i'd understand..

Noirin, Marcus, Charlie and Sophie don't trust Tom at all...David doesn't seem to either. It was Sophie who called Tom over to the bed (and Sophie had been stirring, telling Tom Noirin fancied him, though she didn't tell Noirin that part.)

She got into bed because he called her over to the bed where he was lying next to Sophie. So she got into the bed to chat. I'm not sure what they said but she told Marcus that her instincts told her it was the wrong thing to do and that he was game-planning and got straight out again.

Tom muttered "that was a non-starter" to Sophie.

Looks like Noirin and Sophie are getting quite friendly now. Noirin was confiding in her about her dilemma with Marcus saying that if she became more distant she'd lose him as a friend and any less distant she'd encourage him too much. She was about to ask David for advice but they were interrupted.

Interestingly, David had been bitching about her to Lisa, reckoning that Marcus was her source of strength in the house and that she was leading him on deliberately for her own ends. That might well have been because of the task but I got the distinct impression that David believed it

Anyway, I have figured that Noirin is a character people go on and off on. So hopefully she does something good today to get some fans.

I could have sworn that Noirin said that he was her type, except that he didn't have a pretty boy face?

Noirin was talking to Sophie, saying how she didn't want to make the first move...

What we don't kow is what did Tom do (Task wise) to get the ball rolling?

I think after Tom and Sophie asked Noirin to go into bed beside him, Noirin suddenly went off him and started suspecting he's a "player" or something.

Now her and Sophie are best mates and have decided Kenneth in a player too because he keeps trying to grab them!
