Posts: 238 The Last Time I Looked, They Were All Adults, Weren't They?

I have mused and wondered about who I liked most and who I didn't, and the choices get slimmer each and every day.
There is Halfwit the Tit, Slyavash, Mankus, Tominator, Dumbface, NoNoNoirin, Beady, Lazylis, Chuckie, Who?Hira, and Birod (I know, rubbish nicknames), and looking at the choices, there's no one that stands out over any others for me. Sometimes one will peek ahead of the others, but I've pretty much gone off most of them, some completely, some a bit more then others.
I don't understand the hero worship of Freddy at all, his posh monotone accent and pretentious singing make me ill. I grant you, he did put up with the all the noms better then most, but I think he is very confident now, maybe too confident.
I liked Slyavash from the start, but since rabbitgate, he went right down the scales for me. He lied pure and simple and is trying too hard at times with the mind games.
Mankus, disliked him, liked him a little, now totally off him, hope he gets booted soon.
But, let's be honest, most of the forum buzzes about NoNoNoirin and love her or hate her, if she goes, it will be a mighty dull house.
And this brings me to my opening title, sorry it took me so long to get here, but for the life of me, the way NoNoNoirin is portrayed by many on the forum is absolutely hilarious to me.
She is depicted by many as a temptress, seductress, siren, a Mati Hari, a Salome, a virtual Svengaliess of the highest order. So she likes to flirt, big deal. Compared to previous housemates, who walked arouond with their arses hanging out of g strings all the time, or who bared all at the slightest excuse, Noirin has been pretty modest by those standards. She is in trackies most of the time without makeup, and doesn't parade around flaunting her body. God knows what the fm's would be writing about if she did.
Btw, this is not a love Noirin post, I didn't really rate her at the start, thought she was dull, and she still is at times. But at least she does her bit in the house work wise unlike lazy Lisa, who seems to be too lazy to scratch.
But, back to this sizzling seductress, this master manipulator extraordinaire, if she truly has mesmerized almost all the men in the house at one time or another, approximately 4/5 at last count, she deserves to win imo.....credit where credit is due to be fair.
And of course, if this is true, then the dumbos who have fallen into her web must be the most stupid men on the planet to fall for it and don't really deserve to win!! After all, they would have gotten a "heads up" with the Shree escapade and if they had 4 braincells between them, they would hv steered well clear of her.
But they didn't, they all obviously like her, and like her company, ok, there isn't much of a choice tbh, Dumbface is nice enough, but her conversation is more then a little limited and Lisa, is well, Lisa. I had hopes for Beady and Who?Hira, but that sadly has faded.
So back to the temptress known as Noirin, who seemingly has bedazzled and beguiled, manipulated and mastered the men in the house, which leads me to my question......They are all adults, aren't they? Which means they make their own choices, make their own decisions who to spend time with. I can only assume that without live feed, there is a reason they like Noirin, probably because she is the most normal in their, she has moods, like anyone, is flirty, but not full on.
The men choose to spend time with her, she doesn't make them do anything, after all, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink.
There is an expression here, "you are big enough and ugly enough to take care of yourself" and that is more then true where the male hm's are concerned. No on is forcing them to be "tempted" or "lured" by Noirin, they are adults, and they want to spend time with her, and as they are all free agents (there is still a question about Slyavash, but that is his business after all), so if they want to flirt and have a quick snog under the duvet..............SO BLOODY WHAT!!
I just wish the fm's here would get a grip and just take it for what it is, harmless bit of fun, maybe arising out of boredom, perhaps attraction, either way, it will be shortlived outside of the house, but for the moment, it is at least, entertaining
