As I just said over in the Noirin Appreciation Thread BB must be very annoyed that last night's events didn't happen last week when Marcus was on the ticket.

Short story of last night's event. Marcus acted like a bit of a t*t over Noirin and Siavash being friends again after Rabbitgate. This in turn led to a long convo which lasted until the small hours. Depending on your attitude to the whole Marcus/Noirin situation this was either Marcus controlling and browbeating Noirin or them clearing the air.

Karly is far more likely to go than Noirin.

It's always the same old people posting negative things on the main forum. I would have thought boredom would have caught up with them by now. Ho hum.
I don't think last nights rant came out right. It can't be easy having feelings for someone that are unrequited in such a stressful environment where you just can't escape each other. He just wants her to have as good a time as she does with the other HM's, but they have a far more serious pairing, not as fun, plus he doesn't want her to go on Friday. Luckily for him, Karly is for the off. |

Well I only watched the HLs and didn't read last night's WHATM thread, and from the HLs only it seemed Marcus was sad that Noirin might go and Noirin wanted to set things straight between them re. their relationship, before she thinks she goes.
Of course Karly will be going instead ![]() I thought it was going to be a damning HL show for Marcus, but it wasn't, so I think BB would prefer to keep them both in the moment (it is the only storyline afterall). |

Let's just hope Marcus learns to behave himself vis a vis Noirin cos he has been behaving like a complete and utter t*t around her.

Not that I dislike him now, but I just wish he would get over his obsession with her, for both their sakes!

Marcus was a very naughty boy in the task. Him and Rex deliberately shocked the HMs as much as they could

Somebody directed me to some video of the 'argument' between Marcus and Noirin and, having watched it now, it seems to me that the reaction to it on DigitalSpy was a little bit misleading.
Based solely on the discussion in the WHATM thread I was all set to throw Marcus to the wolves. I was expecting some kind of blazing row or a tearful Noirin trying to weather a barrage of unjustified criticism. What it looked like to me was two friends who really care about each other airing their differences and coming to an amicable conclusion after an intense give and take discussion. I don't agree with some of Marcus' views but I understand what he was trying to say and some of it was fair. I do think that it was primarily motivated by worry that Noirin might go on Friday and I also think it's clear that Noirin likes and respects Marcus and, despite his faults, I think he has a lot of good qualities too. It just goes to show, never make decisions until you've seen the evidence for yourself Regards Julian |

I don't usually join the appreciation threads, but sweet baby jesus - that main forum is out of control with the "pervert" threads. Unbelievable, exaggerated, over the top, utter guff ![]() I Like Marcus , he's a great housemate so there . . . . bananasplit

![]() ![]() I think Marcus would be genuinely happy for Noirin to win this - more so than himself. ![]() On the pestering thing - the more he prods her, the more opportunities Noirin gets to react in either a consistent way or a contradictory way - i.e. she gets to examine in her own mind why she reacts in those ways. They can both learn from it in this controlled environment. Hopefully, people are seeing how Noirin's confidence is growing - although it's a bit blurred, just now, by the eviction. If Marcus achieves what I think his objective is - to remove some of Noirin's barriers / blockages - this thing is going to blow into euphoria. I like the way Siavash, after Rabbitgate, said to her that he thinks she might have "an issue with trust". Of course she has - she thought at times, like the wolves out there still do, that Marcus was Sree - and I'm damn certain (as I hope the company here agree) that he isn't Sree in any way.I am absolutely fascinated by it and, at times when I try to predict Marcus, he seems to act in a way that I truly hadn't dared to predict. WTF would sit in the garden and "perv" at Nikki if they were concerned about coming over as a bit "pervy". ![]() Either he wanted to do it (fair play) or he wanted to be seen to be doing it or both. I wouldn't have done it with that particular object but I sure would have been aching to go and check Karly out. ![]() (run out of smileys) Go Noircus ! Go M.A.T. ! Hello all, sorry I'm late. |

Right, it's my first post in here so be gentle!
I've been teetering on the cusp of loathing and liking for the last couple of weeks. This mornings convo with Charlie was really enlightening - Marcus let his Wolverine mask slip and it made him a whole lot easier to relate to/understand....bet it doesn't get shown on the highlights though. |

It won't be shown for two reasons. Firstly, with all that happened yesterday there just won't be the time. Secondly it doesn't fit the stereotype BB has of Marcus the Slimey Perv.

Hi Phyllis
![]() I saw your mind changing on the WHATM thread (5-6am ... not recommended reading, on the whole). I tried editing out the negativity from the reports to get some kind of summary but there wasn't much left to give a flavour of the convo'.It was the most revealing one I've seen of his. As he said, there isn't really anyone in there (apart from Charlie) that could give him the kind of feedback he wants or, even, the opportunity to express his feelings. Noirin tends to block him.

Hope so! That task confused the hell out of me (It's not hard for me to be confused lol) but if the hm do choose Noirin & Freddie + Marcus then he'd be up too?
