Getting fed up of the editing. All these cut away shots of Marcus which are designed to make us think he's jealous/angry/perverted etc when actaully all he's doing is looking pensive.

Had to come on here due to the number of spurious anti-Marcus threads (very suspicious) appearing on the forum. All the HMs have faults but Marcus does not deserve all the personal attacks he has been getting. These, together with the bad edits that seem to me like BB producers revenge on him for the Sree DR outburst are making me so angry!!!! Rant over.

Every day some loon comes up with a new accusation against the lad

They keep saying the same things OVER AND OVER again!! I would laugh heartily if Marcus and Noirin ended up together!! That would wipe all the accusitions(sp?) off the uptight posters faces!!

He seems to be wise to the newbies game but people 'out there' are just treating it as part of his supposed jealousy over Tom

If I'm honest I think Marcus has another 3 weeks in the house at the most.

He's connected with David, who I don't think is as close to Lisa as it seemed on his arrival.

I discount Freddie being M's best mate (he's lost to Bea now, anyway) and Siavash is too much of a rabbit to hang out with M for long (and he's getting close to Tom ). Charlie cheers him up sometimes but he's away being an a-hole when possible. Noirin doesn't understand him too well (more much like pity than empathy).

I didn't think I was going be able to cope with David but he does seem to solidly connect with people and he draws crowds and gives credit and such like.

Hoping he'll be good with Marcus as he was last night (LF) - D talking about a suggested task (fairground) with a bungee rope (there's a crane in the car park).
Marcus was up for it.

If you saw the WHATM thread, you probably didn't read much about this because folks didn't want to say that Marcus's expression had changed from his "angry because Noirin hates me and Tom is fitter than I am" (or whatever rubbish they use) to a cheery, animated one even though David was, potentially, "cock-blocking".
In fact, whenever anything is going reasonably well for Marcus, that's when the spiteful negativity often increases.

We don't have to adore David - I just think he'll bring out Marcus' better side.

Yeah I agree, he def won't stay to the end which is a damn shame Also Im dreading him going on BBLB, George Lamb actually said today he can't stand him (like we didn't know already!!) so he'll either rip him to pieces or be all nicey nicey with him - probably the latter

Most of the original HMs concocted a plan to not nominate cos they think that the newbies have some sort of secret task (no sh*t Sherlock!!!). Assuming that most of the them don't nom then those who do will have an inordinate influence on the noms

Two things I would like to add to this thread today.

1. I have now officially stopped watching BBLB. I will only watch it when Marcus has his shot on there as I am intrigued how Mr Personality-Lamb will treat him.

2. When Marcus and Noirin are together, he's deemed a pervert. When Noirin is agreeing with him, he is deemed a brainwasher.
I like both of them! I find it patronising when people even think she's being brainwashed. Give her some credit at least. They are two adults having, what I feel, is a genuine friendship and I think he's rather sweet with her.

Something struck me tonight about the way Kenneth has been talking to and about the girls. Everyone notices it and Marcus even went as far as saying that Sophie should report it, that it was bordering on sexual harrasment. Which it is, but thats not my point.

My point is, despite all the nasty threads and comments made about Marcus from certain HMs Not ONE of the HMs have ever suggested that Marcus should be reported. Which tells me that Marcus is not as bad as he is being painted by BB and some FMS

I liked tonight when Marcus said that Noirin should take some responsibility also. I have been saying this for weeks.

I feel sad for how Marcus is being portrayed as I think he is a lovely big guy and harmless.

He also knows the ins and outs of how BB and people work.

I hope he stays friendly with Noirin but also gets more involved with other people in there, and see how Noirin reacts to not having all his attention.

Now this would be fantastic. I have noticed he's been with other people the past few days, but him and Noirin always end up chatting at the end of the night. We need more Marcus/Charlie/David/anyone with a braincell moments where he can talk about more than relationships.

I agree and most of the hm see him as just being a love sick puppy and that Noirin needs to sort the situation out (which she is only just attempting to).

I think Kenneth being such a vile **** may actually be a turning point for Marcus in the editing process. Noirin and him do have a genuine friendship, maybe they'll show more of that while they show Kenneth attempting to manhandle Sophie's girls?

For all we know Marcus might spend most of his day talking to the other HMs but according to the HL he only talks to Noirin
