Marcus was seen to be what he is at heart last night - a great person I watched him help Freddie and make sure he was ok. Way to go Marcus.

Hi zofo. Not much *news*.

I have a little, finally had a reply from Marcus to a PM I sent him (ages ago) asking him to pop into this thread and say hello.

I think I posted there already. Thanks for having my back btw.
XXX
His reply mentioned he'd already posted in here (I must have missed it, or maybe it was one of those posts that got deleted when he first joined up because of the uncertainty about if it really was him?).

Anyway, who's to argue with the man. If he says he's posted here, he's posted

I'm happy with the reply.

It's certainly good that Marcus and Siavash are holding what happened in the house against each other. Maybe they have realised that Noirin just took them both for a ride (figuratively speaking)

That should of course read "are NOT holding"

That would make sense as D'Artagnan was meant to be a few years younger that Athos, Porthos and Aramis

So who here is going to the meet?

I'm in Bristol so not too far and I'm debating with myself whether to go. Being kinda shy tho, I wonder if I'll end up doing a Reg Barkley (Star Trek ref) and end up admiring a potted plant all night

I, like you am also rather on the 'shy' side. I like my personal life, 'personal', so that's one of the reasons I don't do face book/twitter, so I'm not really following the 'meet-up' conversations.

I think the 'party/clubbing' scene passed me my in my teenage years, I seem to have been wearing black and avoided that group of people since I was about 14!

Having said that, I was quite happy to go to Knebworth, Wembley, NEC or Cardiff Arms Park (as it used to be) to go to a concert and get the T-shirt! It was quite a big thing in the mid to late eighties.

I'm not too far from London (about 60 miles), but as much as I'd love to meet Marcus, I think I'm a little too old for that now.

Joined FB and Twitter just because of Marcus, such is his power

I'm an oldie too, older than Marcus, don't let society dictate whether you are too old for anything!

Do you always hang back on meeting new people? Find yourself always in the kitchen at parties or in a corner examining a potted plant? Have loads to say on a subject of conversation, but leave it too late to speak up? Rehearse things in your head but never put them into action?

Welcome to my world

You lot are all invited! If you don't attend I'll be sad. Do you want to make the IDH sad?

As a Marcus fan, I thought I'd give this thread a bump with his latest photo.

Apparently, Abdul's been a naughty cat, and got at Marcus's laptop...http://icanhascheezburger.files.word...tching-cat.jpg
