Hello, a little help please. I have the Humax HDR & a new LG 42"plasma. Question I have plugged in the HDMI lead & also the scart lead. Do I need both & if not how do I go about taking the scart away. At present I lose the picture if I do take the scart away

Only the HDMI cable is necessary, you should get a picture and sound using this, it will however be on a different input on you tv so you need to check this.

Looks like your input is the scart and not HDMI, take out the scart and fiddle with the inputs until you get the picture.

I concur.

Take the scart out. Go into your tv's menu and check that you have the HDMI inputs activated (Some tv's require universal activation as well as Input specific).

Then check that you have the Input Port you're using for the Humax box (on the tv) assigned to HDMI and not scart (the inputs are usually numbered).

This should then get you a picture.
