Oh, and FC - does every other star answer every single letter they receive?
I just love how people see a story, jump on it and twist it so that they attack someone they seem to clearly dislike. The fact that there may be no evidence to back up their comments doesn't matter.
Basically, the story seems to be that bags of letters were to be disposed of and it was done badly. That's it.
I would ask those that made the accusation of unopened mail to provide source for the "unopened" or admit they were wrong. I would also like those who used it to attack the lad to say oops, went a bit far there. I will not hold my breath however!
For the record - I thought he was OK , entertained me for a few minutes. Not given him much thought since then.”

I'm sure it said it wasn't opened yesterday (hence people saying it)
the BBC must have edited it or it was another site which said it was unopened. As for replying, if he gets enough surely he'd have a letter printed off just saying "thanks for the mail" or something which he'd just sign and return, takes about a minute or two. That covers all the "Hi George OMG i fink u r so fit" from teenage girls and anything more complicated he can reply to more personally, again, only a few minutes really isn't it? And these people did vote for him and make him where he is, so it's not especially grateful not to reply to them!
