pana plasma gone wrong?
Hi I wonder if anyone has any idea's on this problem. The other day my th42px70 got the message come up new services found. So I pressed the ok button as usual and let it do it's thing. When it had finished searching some of my freeview channels was missing one of which was itv.On the anologue bbc2 had a crackling on the sound. When I did a new channel search the anologue channels had terriable picture.I could only correct this by do a manual tune but still had sound issue with bbc2.Has it gone wrong. It's still under two years old with a 5 year panasonic warranty.

Couple of things to try. Plug the TV direct to the aerial socket (via tv signal booster if you have one), bypassing any dvdr or vcr's then restart the auto tune.
If you have a booster try it without the booster in case it has failed. If you have another freeview TV try it on the same socket without retuning to see if that works. If it doesn't it points at the aerial/booster having an issue. |
