Over Air Download Schedule

The Over Air Download schedule as listed on the DTG website shows that the current run of foxsat HD s/w 1.00.15 is due to end on the 15-06-2009. Could this mean humax are due to release version 1.00.04 for the HDR thereafter? we can but hope

I noticed that, the other day, too.

But, based on this quote from a post by Barry, over on Hummy.org :
Quote:
“Work is still in progress on the next update, some of the problems reported have been identified by the engineers, and fixes put in place - however do not expect anything soon (cannot say anymore than that)

The main focus of course is iplayer integration, and there is more than one agency involved in this. Freesat might release more info on this in the coming Weeks”

it doesn't look likely, soon. Although, it might depend on your definition of "soon".

Rgds.

Didn't Bob_cat say some time back that iplayer implementation would not be covered by the next update but the following one?

Yes he did.

My reading of this is that they are working the bug fixes in parallel with the iPlayer work, but as separate streams (not too difficult to branch the code).

Freesat may be making an announcement about it in the next couple of weeks, but that doesn't mean it is implemented then. The bug-fix update could still come before the iPlayer final implementation.

But, it's all speculation, so it could be different.

Maybe they are removing the old entry in preparation for a new version number listing
