you need to call up the epg and press the 'OK' button NOT the 'Record' button

l see not all programmes can be series linked. bit of a step backwards from BTvision. it seems a lot of the suff, if not all, of CBeebies cannot be series linked.

If the programme is on at the same time you could put a Daily/ Weekly repeat to get all the episodes.

Thats an issue for the Broadcaster, right? The Beeb (incidently, the co-owner of the platform) not sending series link data.
