Was watching The Impossible Planet last night and just wondering if maybe the Devil is the villain in the finale...may sound bit far fetched but what if the red eyed Ood wasn't a mistake in the spy photos and the response a red herring...how could someone get it that wrong anyway? Layers of fantasy and nighmares?? As the Doctor says in that episode, he shows you your greatest fears....all his companions dying, the Master...then he goes back and fixes everything? Just thoughts...
Ood Red Eye
In Planet of the Ood, the Oods have red eyes too but it's not related to Satan (or whatever his name).
So it might just be another being/thing/thought taking possession of them, or just a reminiscence (because of the dream thing announced), or something totally unexpected.

I think the Satan Pit Devil might be the foe of the Christmas two parter -i've thought that for a while now ... I have also wondered if the Satan Pit devil might have followed the Doctor to Midnight ...
Ood Sigma -personally I agree I doubt that red eyed pic was a mistake I think whichever foe is in the Christmas two parter -they'll take over the Ood ..

a News of the world article published a pic of a weakened Ten falling in front of Red eyed Ood Sigma.Then it was claimed the red eyes were a mistake ..
