"It's not any big secret that I disliked her on Big Brother," he says. "What changed was that she was no longer being edited. That can make you look great or it can work against you. So when we first met we'd gone out for dinner with Kevin and I couldn't believe how well we got on.

"We just buzzed off each other. We were equally as chatty and we had a lot in common. It surprised me but it was interesting, it was exciting. Then she moved in a few days later and for two months there was nothing romantic. Of course it was strange, for the last three months I'd watched her gobbing off on TV and now all of a sudden she was gobbing off in my house."

They've since had a baby son, Bobby Jack, who was born last June, but it hasn't been the smoothest of relationships.

Brazier has been painted as a Jack-the-lad womaniser by the tabloids and he was the victim of a kiss-and-tell by a woman who claimed to have slept with him while Goody was pregnant. He was criticised for going on holiday not long after his son's birth ("I know it didn't look good but it wasn't as soon as people were led to believe"), and in August he was lampooned for walking out on Jade and the baby.

"That wasn't true. It was something I'd spoken to her about before. We were having a bit of a tough time and I felt that the only way I could get through to Jade and this brick wall of a defence system that she puts up, or used to, is to do something quite extreme.

"I didn't turn around and say I was leaving her and when the papers said I'd told her I didn't care about Bobby, that was just sick. I just went away and didn't speak to her for three days. It was a tactic if you like and it was the best thing I could have done."

Things are now fine between the couple, with Brazier saying they "love each other very much", though of course they still argue, as was seen on Celebrity Wife Swap. For that show, Goody went off to live with Who Wants to Be A Millionaire? cheat Charles Ingram, while Brazier had Diana Ingram to stay in Essex.......'

Bobby was born at the beginning of June, 4 weeks early, meaning he was due at the end of June, exactly eleven months after Jade left the house. In other interviews, they've said they met in September.....so when exactly did she get pregnant then??
...or perhaps that doesn't count as romantic!
