I dont know if you guys have heard of them, but they are a bunch of really famous youtubers, who have formed a band of doctor who music called Chameleon Circuit, and have their own genre, time-lord rock.
I have listened to their stuff, and its made of awesome, so I ordered the album and i honestly can't wait as it just rocks.
Their myspace is ; http://www.myspace.com/chameleoncircuitmusic

You beat me to it!. I was just about to post a thread on them! I just bought their MP3's from Amazon about 10 minutes ago and i'm liking what i'm hearing so far! Yet another way to express my Doctor Who obsession!

I had been meaning to post about them for a while but forgot!
I think my fave is An Awful Lot Of Running, and when i get the CD I'll want that as my ringtone of my phone.

Exterminate Regenerate is pretty good as well as "Blink" but I think you're right "Running" is the best of the lot, it remixes the Doctor Who theme very well.

I'm sure we've had several trock threads before, but a new one to flog the CC album can't be a bad thing, can it?

Wouldn't it be awesome if we could get them in the top 40 lol

K9's Lament is worth it on it's own, what a great tune! Sadly I don't think it's gonna make it very far up the charts unless TimeLord Rock really takes the world by storm!

"Famous Youtubers" - bit of an oxymoron, surely?

Oh no! A Critic

I think there are one or two weak tracks in there but there are some top tracks in there and it's great that Doctor Who has inspired new original music. Already looking forward to a second Album.

Some lyrics are cringe worthy, however an overall good effort and strangely - it works!

Tell that to the 150,919 subscribers/4,344,600 channel views of one of them, and 49,079 subscribers/1,359,010 channel views of one of the others.

I doubt you've met 1.3 million people in your entire life, so I'd say it's famous enough

Have to shamefully admit i thought you'd mistyped 'rock' as 'trock'.... then noticed that on the OP's link it means 'timelord rock'!!
I never knew that!

Did i expect to much?

I paid out just over 7 quid on iTunes for this album...

Not that impressed to be honest, prob. one decent track.

The vocals are weak in the majority, and the lyrics in places are shocking, lol..
I can see why its been done, and for that reason, fair play and well done..
But..for the money i have now spent and lost, i expected a more polished performance / album in exchange.

I disagree, I reckon it's well worth a listen whether you're a Doctor Who fan or not.

An Awful Lot of Running is excellent, as I said it's a mix of original music and the "Who" theme.

But it's worth it for K9's lament on it's own, that is a fantastic tune and my favourite of the whole album. I eagerly anticipate a second album.
