Why does it have to be a 'name'? Margaret's strength was her integrity. An 'unknown' with that in spades will do for me.

It will NOT be a name!!!! They don't want the candidates reacting to the presence of a Name among them. Margaret and Nicks strength is their ability to meld into the background - seeing everything, noting it all down, and coming out very occasionally with withering one-liners!

I cant believe the fuss over Margarets replacement. As I said earlier in this thread, the position as far as the viewer is concerned is not important at all. If we never saw Nick and Margaret on the show, it wouldnt really take anything away from the show. They are only there for Alans benefit, and not the viewers.

It doesnt bother me who takes the job, the only utter a couple of sentances a week anyway.

Hi, yes I remember this story and I stand corrected. However, I also seem to remember reading it from a slightly different angle - perhaps the Herald but I'm not sure. I think there was more to it than met the eye, as there sometimes can be in discrimination cases. If, however, Michelle Mone did treat someone unfairly on account of being pregnant then that's pretty unforgiveable.

I still go back to my point about her being "stupid", however, as she's certainly not that.

They dont actualy do anything other then to pretend to scribble nots and in the Board Room its vague comments such as I did not particularly like her and nothing much about how they performed the task. Seemed to be particularly bad this year.
