what of the meat and two veg variety lol , well she certainly looks more like a Michael than a Michelle hence explains the manly butch look about her.

I would be surprised if it was someone from outside Alans company. It has to be someone, that knows Alan, and knows what he wants. They will be his eyes and ears. So someone who has been working with him for quite a while, would be ideal. Not some outsider.

In the American version, when one of the 'regular' is away someone else from within Trumps company steps in, and does the role. Its been his son, daughter, winner of season 1, to name a few that have taken over.

I would hate to see her take over, she annoys me all the time in the Scottish media

Oh - what I most appreciated about Margaret and Nick was their restraint - their almost old-fashioned reserved manner.
In these days of excess, how wonderful to be entertained by the raising of an eye-brow, or a frown!

Sure, let's have the exhuberant types on the 'You're Fired' show - but I'd prefer a quieter, older person to be Sir Alan's right hand person.

Believe me, if she thinks there is even a chance of herself being put in Margarets position she'll be kicking people out of the way to get there. completely in love with herself and the fact that she is a "blonde businesswoman" get over it.

Would love to have had a completely new business face in there rather than Brady or Mone who I still have doubts over as to their "ingenuity" - not saying they haven't had success as they plainly have in most areas - but struggling to believe it was all so individually achieved as they make out.

I heard 'Mary Queen of Shops' being suggested as a replacement, I quite like that idea.

After the way she was with Katie Hopkins on you're fired and the way I've read she goes about her business, I think she's one of the worst possible choices.

She's used Rod Stewarts love life as an advertising campaign, she fired a woman for getting pregnant and she's got a horrible accent.

I hope she isn't hired to replace Margaret, I'd much rather have someone who doesn't have prior TV exposure, someone not in th job for the fame.

Seen her around in Glasgow a few times previously. Very arrogant and a bit " Do you know who I am?"

The only tribute she has better than Margaret is her moustache.

I'd like to see Ruth take over from Margaret.

Do hope this isn't true. The fantastic thing about Nick and Margaret is that they are not (or at least WERE not) "names" in their own rights so did not have any personal PR agenda to push.

What's with comments like, "She's an intellectual lightweight in comparison to Margaret"?... It's not like you need to be a brainbox in order to follow around a group of people and watch as they trip up and make fools of themselves.

Has anyone stopped to consider whether this woman would even consider taking the job?

By all accounts she's running a successful company so would she spare the time?

Margaret did it because she's retired and as a favout to an old friend.

Oh she'd want it alright! It's only for a few weeks in a year, guaranteeing her a higher media profile than YF panellist... which she already does. Her husband can hold the fort in that time.

I'm sure if she's turned down (or isn't considered!) she'll spin it as 'I turned it down as I couldn't afford the time', mind.

I think they really need to audition this role! Not audition in terms of singing and dancing but they need to make sure they have the chemistry Margaret had with Nick. And she needs to be able to be as entertaining as Nick and Margaret are alone as they are together.
