I dont blame you for not getting him castrated by the way.

Has he got lots of toys?”

Yh my sister usually wears the same fleece to pick the rabbits up and he seems worse when with her than he is with me but we wasnt sure if that was the smeel of the fleece or just my sister lol as he loves her the most

When we got him the previous owners gave us a ball for him to play with, but he never seemed interested with it, and we have given him stuff since rattles, cardboard book, wood sticks, differnet tpyes of balls and he doesnt seem interested in them at all, whereas my little girl likes playing lol

Some rabbits are more playful than others, and some just aren't into toys. One of mine would never touch them, but would spend ages carrying bundles of hay around his run, hopping about with a stick in his mouth, or shunting his wood shavings round like a bulldozer, usually when I wanted to clean his house out.

He does that with his saw dust literally he will kick all of it out the hutch as soon as you have done it lol, and just generally makes a mess I think thats his game
yh Ive seen a toy in pets at home that has got carrots and a dangle thing lol, that i saw a rabbit (the rabbit was huge and had the biggest ears ever) in the shop playing with that i may get Charlie as it seemed fun

buying toys isn't really always the only option, i've never bought any of mine toys
which isn;t to say they don;t have commercial toys, but they're things i've been given.

as an example, mine have enrichment in the form of an old water bottle filled with rabbit muesli, a few holes cut in the sides so the rabbits (and smarter of the guineas!) can push it around for their grub
chopped veg or anything can go in there
can also use kitchen roll tubes
my female rabbit gets really annoyed when they're empty though, lobs them all over the place

most of the things in my garden are recycled bits and bobs
and old upturned lawnmower grass basket with a doorway cut in it
an upturned bike basket (large holed one)
cleaned old plastic drain pipe
from random pieces of plywood left over from building the hutches was made into a little house for them to go in
buckets of dirt for the rabbits to dig in...

heck, my ramp for the kittens is an off cut of cage and aviary wire between two pieces of an old pallet with an old barbecue skewer in it to hold it onto the hutch

Ive got a baby rattle for mine, I think I got it from a petshop, but it just looks like a baby rattle with a bell trapped inside it, he can pick it up with his teeth and throw it about.

If your rabbit is a good high jumper, they might enjoy some shelves or boxes to leap on and off and hide in. One of ours used to sleep on one of his hidey shelves.

my boy is a very good jumper, he has a rabbit jump which he likes but isnt high enough for him lol. Obviously we didnt encourage this but he managed to jump onto our kitchen side because me and my sister was sitting on it, luckily he hasnt tried it since

Mine used to love running up and down the stairs when he was younger as well.
