I'd be grateful for some tried and tested recipes.

I asked on another part of the forum and had the one for gooseberry mead already, so we can skip that one.

I have got gooseberries all over me..I'm cold..

Have you tried googling recipes in google engine.. I do that when i want summat..

Yup, I might do that. What I was really after, though, were some ideas that people had tried and definitely knew worked well.

So far (on another thread) I've got mead and wine.

One thing we discovered kind of by accident. Get a lot of fresh gooseberries. Freeze them. Defrost. Turns into a kind of mushy gooseberry paste which is excellent as a substitute for apple sauce with roast pork.

I won't use it with pork (I'm a veggie... ) but I can think of a baked Camembert recipe that would suit a bit of gooseberry sauce type stuff.
