To go with the new look Big Brother taking place next summer, they are having a brand new logo 'eye' to go with it & this time it's a real eye just like Big Brother 1 was!
There may even be a new theme tune (but I hope they don't go that far, I liked the old one )

What do you think of it?

I like it. I do hope they don't change the music though.

I like it too - Mel's eye in series one looked great. Changing the music would be a mistake though. Kind of like when they redid the theme for 'Bergerac'

Barely into the new year and already stuff about BB5!

Well even if it's a mock up or test piece I'm salivating already. Bring it on!

Do I hear lala already putting the knife into BB5?

Tumble, I hope not and I've heard people saying that that one is just for test purposes.

I much prefer the logo you originally posted.

Knowing people will be looking out for the testing screens maybe it was just a quick one drawn up for it. We'll just have to wait and see.

I do agree with you, I think if BB fails this year as dismally as it did last year we will have seen the last of it. I just hope that this doesn't provoke them into coming up with all sorts of stupid gimmicks again this year.

It didn't fail last year. Ratings just weren't as good as they were for BB3. It still got more votes than BB1 or BB2, but not as many as BB3. And the final was still one of the most watched shows on Channel 4 in 2003.

You are correct in this Donna, its make or break time, lets hope we have some decent producers who have taken the time to listen to what the BB fanbase has been saying!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but could these logos not be for any one of the world's "Big Brother"s, which are all produced by Endemol?

I like this idea (whether it is the logo or not), because we want Big Brother 5 to be different from the previous 4 (but in a very good way).

So why does every single forum discussing BB agree what a disappointment and flop it was, why do the producers of C4 and Endemol keep saying it was a flop and every press article talk BB5 having to improve on BB4 or it will be the end??

I don't care what facts and figures there are, BB4 was a complete disappointment, from start to finish.
