Are there any other 10th Kingdom fans out there??

This mini series aired in about 2000 (I think!) and I really love it!

It's the story of a girl called Virginia who lives in New York - she travels with her dad Tony and a dog who is really a Prince through a mirror to a land of Cinderella, Snow White etc.

It's a very imaginative series, with a great cast and great writing - very funny!

My favourite character is Wolf!

Me too I LOVED this. I have the boxset...on video lol. Ill sometimes watch it again just caus I love the bit with Wolf in the restaurant where he asks for the lamb (Raw, just let it look at the oven and bring it out) or something along those lines lol I cried laughing at that bit. I loved Wolf too. Was it bad that I had a major crush on him lol. Scott Cohan was in Sats episode of CSI New York. Took me a min to place him but I was like omg WOLF

It is one of my fave mini series. Love the theme tune and the way New York transforms in the credits.

Sky 3 have shown it a couple of times in the school holidays.

I love this mini series! I've managed to convert most of my friends into being 10th Kingdom fans as well. It is true that there was going to be a 2nd mini series but that was scrapped?

I'm glad it's not just me!

Yes, there were supposed to be more but it never happened!

I just love what they did with all the fairy tales and characters. It was beautifully filmed right across Europe too.

I actually walked up the aisle to the music from Kissing Town!

I like to watch it on DVD every now and then - real comfort tv!

My favourite Wolf bit is when he's running through the forest in slo-mo to rescue Virginia and Tony from the vines! Yum!

I thoroughly enjoyed the mini series, and was given the show on DVD as a birthday present a few years ago. I think I shall have to watch it again soon...thanks!

I really enjoyed this when it was on Sky, & bought the R1 DVD as it came out before the R2.

I don't think I've actually watched it since seeing it on Sky though...maybe I should dig the DVD out.

I love this series as well

Its just so magical and its real escapism!

I to am a fan of Wolf lol
Although I do like Wendel as well (I like my men blonde!)

I got it on video when it first came out, then upgraded with a R1 dvd, then I bought in on R2 dvd last year, as I no longer had a multi region player

I watched it again last year after a few years of not watching it, and it was just as good (if not better!) than the first time I watched it
Although I could do without the trolls - worst characters, I normally skip the parts where they are 'trapped' in lift at the beginning, only the dad was ok

I think its one of my fav all time series, its up there with Lord of the Rings (Peter Jackson)

It just warms u up inside

I loved it. I was only young when it came out (11/12 ish) and Scott Cohen's Wolf was a definite crush of mine. He's a character you just really fall in love with ....or I did anyway! Still do whenever I watch it - all over again.

Tremendous little series. Great use of theme tune, 'Wishing on a Star' and loved the bit with the Goblins, discovering the music of the BeeGees. "They speak of a fever that strikes only on Saturday nights."

Lol I was just gonna say the only bits I liked with the trolls were the BEEGEES bits made me laugh outloud. Its just a really nice charming show that always left you with a smile. I had heard they were gonna do more but I dont think the ratings were as good as they expected which was such a shame but now looking back the whole thing was pretty much complete and I think it would spoil it to do another.
I was about 19 I think when it came out (Im 28 now) and I still love it. Im gonna have to dig out the Vids now and watch it again I also like the bit where Wolf lets Virginia stroke his tail lol "with not against" it was one of those shows that appeal to all ages caus there was quite alot of adult humour in it.

Great News 10th Kingdom fans.

Sky3 is showing it tonight at 4am and tomorrow at 4am, then I assume the same times next week.

P.s. Hopefully it won't be the signed version as they normally have sign language on the late showings.
