Possible 'The Incredible Human Journey' problem?

I have this programme on a Series Link recording schedule. This was normally shown on Tuesday evenings at 9pm, but for some reason BBCHD decided to miss a week & restart on a Monday (that's next Monday 15th June).

However, when I checked last night (Wednesday), the programme for the 15th was showing in the EPG, but the Humax had not scheduled the recording.

The BBC probably brought it back with a different Series CRID (naughty), so the old timer will never pick it up. Although I'm surprised no-one else has reported this. (I don't watch it, so can't check).

Just delete the old timer and reschedule the recording/series.

Rgds.

The BBC have in their wisdom changed the series crid. I noticed it yesterday, so I deleted the old schedule entry and set the new one.

This is obviously going to be an ungoing problem where you are reliant on, I assume, a manually input system by the Broadcasters.

Good on you Caoimhghin for looking out for that. I reckon the recent problems regarding BBC recording failures are down to them tinkering with the series crid data and in the above case it looks like the problem is their doing

I had a few such non-recordings over the last couple of weeks including The Incredible Journey - very annoying as it was fascinating series.

It definitely looks as though the BBC has some questions to answer and they need to put their house in order quickly.
