My favourites are some of the older ones, although Back for Good is also a true classic. I love A Million Love Songs, and for some reason, the album tracks I Can Make It, and Another Crack in My Heart.
Rereading the writing credits, and confirming that Gary wrote most of their tracks just reaffirms that Take That were an amazing boyband who deserve to be remembered, and that Gary was a very talented songwriter. |

When Take That were huge, I thought they were crap but when I compare them to every boyband post-TT, Take That were bloody geniuses in comparison! They (well Gary!) wrote most of the songs and some weren't half bad! |

I was 14 when they were at their 'peak'. I never bought their stuff but a friend of mine was totally obsessed. She wanted to go to the concert but no-one would go with her so I offered. THat was some experience! She queued from about 5am while I went to school and risked being beaten up by just sauntering past everyone and joining her at about 6pm lol. Anyway we were on the 2nd row and the show was good but it was no fun in the crowd. I was sweated on and this girl behind was trying to get to the front and I broke her arm. Not on purpose! (honestly!)

That's a really good story! Back For Good is the one everybody says, it's kinda of the safe beat. Doesn't anybody like some of the more cringing songs? |

For me it has to be Everything Changes and the album track Whatever you do to me. They were far better then any of todays boybands

I Can Make It or Love Aint Here Anymore. The live Take That Medley from the Why Can't I Wake Up With You cd was a corker and the live tracks on the Babe discs (Normal cd and the calendar pack) were superb. Brought back some happy memories - as has this thread hehe

Gary Barlow wrote a few songs off Delta Goodrems album I believe. Shame he never made it as a singer in his own right. Robbie Williams is such an arrogant ******, he doesn't deserve how well he has done.

Gary did start off best. Had 2 number ones then kinda plummeted.
Robbie is rubbish - has very little musical talent. |

Back For Good is my favourite Take That song.
I think you'll find Gary Barlow is making MORE money than Robbie - cos songwriting is where the money is. Gary's not daft - he knew he couldn't carry on as a solo singer, so he's gone off and done what he's best at. Him and Elliott Kennedy write lots of songs and produce, for lots of people including Delta Goodrem and Blue. Robbie's solo career may have made him millions, but he never seems happy and what's he gonna do when he's finished? Yeah he can spend more of that money but he always seems so unhappy to me. Gary has a wife and family and seems very happy with the way things have turned out. |

Looking back at take that they weren't that bad, much better songs than westlife. They wrote there own songs but sadly that tit robbie williams was in them.
