Three.....done It Again

Ok i cancelled my contract.

Called three to give me a better deal many time with no real joy.

Played with them a bit with good package, but wong phone.

Good phone wrong package etc.

Been with them for 5 years or more.

Got a call today (offering my 750 minute and 150 text which cos me £40 a month, which was ok at the time), asking me to reconsider. They dropped the plan to £17 per month as i was a log term customer. Same Minutes and text.

They started to offer the package with "shitty" handsets.

I said no, but eventually agreed n the New LG Viewit KU990i? i think it is.

Is the hand set ok?

need to know, whethere to opt out, have a nokia n75, which not really content with!

LG Viewty KU990? Absolutely awful handset - and VERY old!

The Viewty 990 is indeed VERY old.

If you're happy with the line rental deal, try for a similarly priced 'shitty' handset. Not that they're all bad; the Nokia 6120 is a great wee phone and the inq1 has won some hefty awards... Sony Ericsson C510 is fairly fine too - Nice Facebook Application.

All these handsets are in the same price bracket - ie; there's no additional fee for them on Mix & Match plans. They should be happy to chop & change between them.

Three tried the £17 deal breaker with me but they offered the inq1 to me not a bad phone i must admit but they offered me this phone already knowing that i already had it like Mr Cable says try for another phone with a similar price

The Viewty (KU990) is indeed a few years old now - however, it's not awful. Had one before and it was fine.

In your OP you said KU990i though, so are you sure it's the Viewty?

They told me its the updated version of the "u990i viewity" on the three website. And it's KU990i

If it's the crap one i can send it back as long as i dont open the phone , batter etc, i think.

The KU990i is an updated version of the original Viewty.

It comes with updated software no extras in the box only the Phone and the Charger.

I'd send it back if i were you.

Dunno about "shitty" handsets, but 3 are a "shitty" company full stop. Their customer service is the worst ive ever experianced from any company ever!!

Must admit I always found them very good apart from the poor range of handsets. Was with them for 5 years but am about to leave as my phone is in a poor state and I want the Nokia n97.
