You can only got one iphone per person in the store. Unless it is a business account.
Are you already a customer or a new one? If you are an exsisting customer wanting to upgrade, you can upgrade in one store then upgrade the other account in another store. Or you can get one from the o2 store and one from CPW. Stupid rules by o2 but the staff need to follow them. |

If you went into a Carphone Warehouse we would probably do it but it would be at the Consultants discretion.
The other way would be to each get one but both out of the same bank account? |

Probably a combination of rationing (although that's not so relevant once the rush has calmed after the release of a new model), but I think it is mainly down to fraud prevention - somebody trying to commit a fraud will get as many handsets as possible (until credit checks start declining). It is the dealer that bares the brunt of this (every fraud transaction is a handset lost), so they will try to minimize fraud transactions by only giving one handset per customer - especially on high value handsets such as the iPhone.
It is pretty pointless, as you can just go back later on or another day (or even another O2 shop) and get another (providing you pass the CC for a second handset). |

I tried to get to set up one account with two phones (new customer with sim only X2)on o2 but they were not able to do it, so just ended up with two accounts both taking money from the same bank account on the same day.
So from what other people have said just go to two diffent shops. |

does anyone know anything about the business contracts?
ive took a closer look and for 2 phones the tarriff's are quite good and ive seen that they say you can upgrade after 12 months if you wanted on the business contracts? thinking that might be quite useful as there will prob be a new iphone next year too, is it that simple? |
