Has anyone seen the ticket prices for Miley Cryus' UK tour???

£60 a ticket!!!
£49 for the cheap seats!!

I'm sorry but £60 for an artist that has had two Top 10 albums and not one Top 10 single is ridiculous!!!

Have a look at some of the big tours that are happening this Summer:

Take That - £30-£55
Beyonce - £49.50
Michael Jackson - £50-£75
Coldplay - £45
AC/DC - £55

Some of these are the biggest artists in the world. Even they're not charging as high a price as Miley Cyrus is. Michael Jackson is charging a higher price but he could charge £000's and get away with it!!

The thing is, these tickets will sell out as children nag their parents to get them tickets. You'll always do what your children want and these tickets will sell. She's already sold out nights at The O2 Arena and MEN Arena, the two biggest indoor arenas in the country.

I think it's ridiculous that an artist of such small magnitude can charge that price for tickets and get away with it.

That is way too much for her! Her music is not even that popular here and she is pricing that much for her concert? It's a joke, I do like some of her music but will not be paying that to see her!

To be fair most of the tickets have gone which suggests that she has priced it right. Although I don't think that makes it right in any way.

Plus of course there is the ridiculous rule on these that the cardholder has to attend, so my idea of buying the tickets for my niece went straight out the window.

She knows it'll be parents taking their kids. Parents have more money to spend so she is essentially doing it because she can...

Let's be fair though, we're not just talking about "Miley Cyrus the artist" here, you're talking someone who is watched by millions daily on the Disney Channel, has released a massive film this year and has sold loads of soundtrack albums.

It might well just be Miley Cyrus that appears at the shows, but you can guarantee that a massive proportion of the audience is not just there to see her in that capacity. Doesn't justify the prices, but of course they'll charge that, she's a massive commodity at the moment, even if her chart presence doesn't reflect that.

I'm 18 so a bit out of the demographic for Hannah Montana but I do like some of the songs and her solo stuff is good. I was looking forward to going to see her but £60 a ticket is way too expensive. But like other has said the promoters have priced it right as children will be wanting their parents to take them for christmas.

A great piece of journalism considering the NEC still have tickets for sale 48 hours after they 'sold out' Ticketmaster also have tickets for Manchester.

Well, of course! Those responsible know exactly what they are doing and how to work the market.

It's supply and demand. If the demand wasn't there they would be forced to lower the prices. They're just giving the general public what they want.

It's just good business.

The people to blame are the people who play into their hands.

I really wanted to go.

I don't care if I'm buying into the hype but as a 14 year old girl, I think she's fantastic. My stepmum was on the computer at 9am but she couldn't get tickets, and eBay are selling them for even more ridiculous prices.

I remember reading on some forum a while ago a lot of complaints by parents in the States over her ticket prices there too. General gist was that their kids watched Hannah Montana and were desperate to go, so they paid up, even though they all thought the tickets were vastly overpriced. Seems like her popularity and demand for tickets allows them to charge so much.

People complain about the price of Madonna's tickets, too, but her tours always sell out so as long as the demand is there she would be daft not to capitalise on it.

These people are running a business, not a charity. Ethics simply don't come into it.

Who cares? If people want them they'll buy them.

It's supply and demand.

Just Miley. Her last tour was the "Best of Both Worlds" one.

It is called Supply and demand!!!

Why do people have to moan so much??

If you dont like it , well then dont go simple. There are 1000's of other people that will go instead. And as it is now sold out 1 person moaning has not put a dent in ticket sales.

I doubt she had much say in the price of the tickets to be fair, it will be the management. And it seems like the pricing was right if they're all sold out.

I could be wrong but I think it will be mostly Miley promoting her Breakout album but there will be a section for Hannah Montana.

Be careful buying off ebay, the cardholder must attend so unless the seller is willing to meet you there you won't get in.
