Fast forward.....

Matt Smith's coming to the end of his second year as the Doctor & Steven Moffat's writing the series finale. Only this year there's going to be a big shock that won't be mentioned in any of the publicity.

The finale will see The Doctor, his two companions plus Rose, Martha, Donna & Sarah Jane Smith join forces against the Black Guardian. As episode 13 draws to a close it's revealed that one of the two current companions is really an agent for the Black Guardian.
The "rogue" companion draws a laser weapon & attempts to kill The Doctor but one of the other companions (Rose, Martha, Donna or Sarah Jane) sacrifices herself to save him. No excuses this time. The companion is DEAD FOR GOOD AND CANNOT BE BROUGHT BACK.

As for your question - and what a question. If you really wanted the dramatic effect it'd have to be Rose. Especially if you had already set up how happy her and 10.5 are in their own little world - then you could have heart break by no 11 and 10.5 and how it would effect them both. (obviously in the plot to have Rose in it you'd have to have 10.5 there as well, which in itself will potentially make an interesting conversations.)

On a personal note the one I'd be least upset to see leave the storylines is Sarah Jane as she's my least fav companion.

To answer the question: I'd have to say Rose. Firstly because it would end the 'is rose coming back' rubbish, secondly, because from a dramatic POV it would be very satisifying.

I agree with all of that. I don't want Rose to come back at all because I like her and am glad she gets to grow old with 10.5 but I think she would make the best storyline. And I have only seen New Who so I haven't got as 'close' to Sarah Jane as I have the others so if she was killed then it wouldn't bother me that much compared to the others.

However, I'm not sure if Rose would actually do it. She has 10.5 and the proper Doctor is no longer her Doctor. I think she would be upset but wouldn't sacrifice herself. Using that logic I think the companion most likely to sacrifice herself would be Donna as she really is his best friend although I would hate that to happen as she is my favourite.

Okay votes, I'm really disappointed to see the clockwork droids go. I think they were beautifully designed especially when the Doctor took the wig off and we saw inside the head.

That was pretty easy for me as I only have one other one left which isn't on my predictions list (aka my favourites) and I like that other one better than the above two. I thought Anthony Stewart Head did a great job as the slimy Mr Finch and I loved the scenes in the swimming pool and those with K9. The lone Dalek was much better than the Daleks as a group but I think that was due to CE's superb acting rather than the Dalek itself.

I'd probably agree with everyone else and kill of Rose, especially if she was happy with the other doctor. However, on a personal note, I'd hate to see Donna killed off, she's my fave!

OMG, I voted out one of my predictions? That's not cool .... (lol, I can't even remember who I predicted anyway And I think the VN deserved to go about now ... so fairly happy with the results this round ... poor Moff taken a hit!)

And as for the question ... I'd quite enjoy Martha or Sarah Jane's deaths, I can't stand either of them; Rose and Donna would be far more dramatic and emotive ... and I think Donna would be most likely to do it. She'd do anything for the Doctor, and ultimately the rest of the world (and universe!).

Possibly, although we usually start wth 100. I don't really use any hard 'n' fast rules with this game aside from the fact that it's usually 5 that go out in the first few rounds.

After we've lost three from this round we're down to 10 so it will be one per round from then onwards......

The Sound Of Drums / Last Of The Timelords: Harold Saxon / The Master (John Simm). I like John Simm, but I thought he was a little too manic/comic for my taste. I thought the menace that Jacobi brought out in his 2 minutes as the Master was greater.

As for the question, my hope is that they STOP bringing back companions, just like the Daleks. Then we won't have to worry about killing them off!
I liked bring back Sarah Jane for one episode, but getting Rose/Martha/Donna back AGAIN is wearing thin. Hopefully Moffat will have strong ideas/characters of his own and not need to do this. They can all go up in a big explosion together if they are brought back IMHO!
