I make very few phone calls (from any device) and am on the basic free weekend calls option (formerly known as option 1 I think) at home. I keep getting invitations from BT to extend this to free evening calls as well in return for signing up to a 12 month contract.
Doing this wouldn't bother me at all if it weren't for the fact that there's a chance I might move. To be honest, it's not that likely in the next year, but I'm on the lookout for a new place, and if the chance came up I'd go for it. I suppose in the scheme of things, and compared to all the other costs of moving, the 12 month contract with BT would be a tiny consideration, but seeing as I make so few calls anyway I haven't bothered to do anything. I was just wondering whether anyone knew what BT's attitude is in these circumstances - if I was planning to stay with them at my new address, would they still enforce the terms of this 12 month contract, or would they be happy to let me off so long as I then signed up for the same deal at my new address ?
