Can you beleive it!

Some old busy body at a childs party has reported me for abusing a goldfish!

I may now be out of a job!

I run a childrens entertainment show, we normally do childrens parties, school visits and youth clubs.

Part of the act is a comedy magic act.

In this, I actually swallow a real live goldfish and eat it.

I then pretend to the kids that I by magic will send the goldfish back into the bowl where it will be swimming quiite happy again.

What actually happens is as im eating one goldfish my assistant replaces the fish ive ate with another fish whilst the kids are engrosed on the crunching and chewing that im doing with the first fish.

But today some old goat said she was reporting me to the RSPCA!

I mean!

Since when can you be punished for eating FISH!

Ive been doing this act for 2-3 years so far without 1 complaint, and to be honest its cost me a few quid in fish, but it makes the childrens faces full of delight when they feel the magic I create.

Some people!
I know Sundays can be boring when you're only 12 but never mind, back to school tomorrow morning.

Would that be a very special school? Or perhaps approved?

Successful trolling depends on the element of surprise. The abandoned dog story owed its (admittedly limited) success to the OP being new, and the story being vaguely plausible (there are some very odd people on DS sometime!). To repeat the exercise, on the same forum, with a similar plot, shows a shocking lack of originality, IMO.

I see the topic-related ad at the bottom of this thread is about aquarium screensavers!! There's also one about being hurt and claiming compensation (perhaps aimed at the goldfish?). Sometimes these ads are absolutely priceless.
The one I'm seeing is about healthy snacks!!

Seems that bluloa was getting under mummy's feet yesterday evening, so she sent him to his room. In his boredom, he created his fanciful story.

bluloa, that yarn is way too obvious. Don't worry, with age comes subtlety.

I'm actually amazed this thread's still here. It started off more or less irrelevant, was unmasked within about 30 minutes, and has been going off at a tangent ever since, but it's been here over a week! Someone must be finding it funny or something!
