Dont worry too much. There's a good chance she'll come back.

We thought all was lost a couple of years ago after our... fairly mature... little cat went missing. She came back after a week stick thin, covered in ticks and with a broken hip, but she came home and that was the main thing.

I always wondered if she really cared about us or she just stayed because she got fed here. but the look on her face as we all took turns cuddling her settled my mind that cats really are affectionate and loyal. ok end of soppy story.

Hi All,

Just to let you know the good news - stella returned home last night!!!

We put some fresh food out for her about half 10, i went for my bedtime ciggy at 11 oclock and i could hear her frantically meowing below the window - to me it sounded like 'mom...let me in pleeeeeeaaaaassssseeeee ' I cant actually remember the last time i cried tears of joy - it is so good to have her home and safly. I checked her over and she seems fine - very skinny mind. Gave her lots of water and food. She purred ALL night sitting on my pillow - there is no doubt that she is glad to be home.

Will ring the vets this morning to get her in for her check up and see if i can bring her op forward.

Thank you for all the kind words and support.

That's fantastic ~ I'm so pleased for you. I know everyone here said she's come back & not to worry but equally it's impossible not to worry. No doubt if it happens again you'll be just as worried!

I hope that she's not pregnant at her tender age but yes, get to the vet for a check up asap & tell him about her wandering off with the local feline romeo! The vet may need to know about the possibility of a pregnancy before she's spayed.

Now you can spoil her rotten.

That is fantastic news - I'm so glad she's home. Get her to the vets pronto, warn him she's most likely pregnant - he can still spey her but probably only up to a certain point in the pregnancy so best to be done sooner rather than later.

thank you for all the replies

Took stella to the vet last night for a check over - the vet said she is fine which i was very pleased about. Her op is a week today and he said it was still fine to do then even if she was pregnant!

Gave her lots of kisses and cuddles last night from you all
