You might be better off buying the foundation on it's own first, see if it suits you, then buy the starter kit.

Right, I picked up my stuff over the weekend, here is my quick review!! Whether you want it or not
![]() new moisture care lip color Maple Sugar - very nice. I find lipstick too heavy for me and looks a bit silly, and gloss often too glossy!! But this I liked. Not too sticky, and very light. The colour was quite subtle too, but it could easily be built up into a stronger colour. Foundation Brush Foundation Brush - not used it yet, but looks good Wet Gloss Lash and Brow Clear Mascara Crystal - I use this on my brows, very good. Doesn't look like there is anything there, but holds them in place perfectly! Natural Radiance Blusher Glow - nice, subtle shade, gives nice coverage and a nice glow, very nice Eyeshadow Set Basic Browns - I bought this because I was going to buy some eyeshadows, and some eyeshadow brushes, so just bought a set!! The brushes are really very good, great coverage and doesnt drip the shadow onto the underneath of your eyes which is good. The shadows are very nice too. Again, subtle colour, but can easily be built up. I dont like the eye pencil though, as it dragged on my eyes a bit. All Over Cover Stick Light - not bad. Better at covering bags than "imperfections" *cough*, but it's a nice consistency. All Over Color Stick Persimmon - also nice! Used on my cheeks so far, nice colour. Didn't last as long as I would like though. So pleased in total! One thing I would mention is that a lot of it (eyeshadows, blusher, color stick etc) is very shimmery/goldy. Which is nice, but not great for a "subtle" daytime look. I had to be careful how much I put on today, as I work on a construction site and didn't want to look like I was ready for a night out! I also bought a load of stuff yesterday with the free shipping. I am now banning myself from the website until they get the new stuff in November - I dont need any more make up!! Haha. I bought a few nail polishes as well as face stuff this time. I love nail varnish, and can't go wrong for that price. |

My stuff came today. Replaced the lipstick and lipgloss that I accidently chucked out, and got the blush bronze duo and the lip definer.

Me again.
From my latest parcel (whoops) I tried the hydrotint today, with their foundation brush, and also the mineral concealer, with a concealer brush. Both very good! Hydrotint was just what I was looking for - light, nice bit of coverage! And the concealer covers up a lot better than the cover stick I bought form them did, I really like it! Much prefer powder concealers for spots - but I do like the cover stick for under my eyes - so not a wasted purchase ![]() Will try out the nail varnishes later, or at the weekend, but they look very nice. I am ignoring their facebook "free shipping when we reach 16,000" because I don't need anything else!!! Next purchase will be when something runs out or when all their new lines come in in November - whichever is sooner. |

Has anyone here used the Blush and Bronzer Compact?
What was it like? Was the color too much/too dark/too glittery when you put it on? I was thinking of getting it but a lot of the reviews I've read have said it's very dark and glittery on your face. I don't wanna waste £3.50, I know it's not a lot, but still, no point in wasting money. Thanks. |

I have it. The blush is a shimmery pink against my skin, and the bronzer doesn't show up!

The bronzer is pretty much the colour of my skin, so should probably be avoided by those of you with burn rather than tan.

I haven't ordered the Blush and Bronzer compact yet as I'd like to read a few more reviews. |

Finally recieved my item's this morning, here's what I think of them.
Lip Primer and Plumper Good for plumping. Smells divine. I'm not to keen on the Primer though, it makes my lips nude, kinda like this - although nuded lips suit some people, they don't suit me. But it is a 5* product and well worth £3.50. Will definitely buy it again Tone Correcting Conealer (I have the 4001 Fair" colour) Excellent product, gives great coverage, doesn't cake. It can be worn with or without make-up, cos when the concealer is on, it doesn't look like you have anything on. Will definitely buy it again (when this one runs out!) and would definitely recommend it. 5* product. Well worth £1.50. Tinted Moisturizer SPF15 (I have 6001 Tone 1) Excellent product, gives great coverage, doesn't cake, looks natural. Only a small amount is needed. Well worth £1.50. Will definitely buy it again. 5* product. Brightening Eye Liner (I have "Glided" colour) Excellent product. Doesn't smudge. Looks great. Not to sparkly/glittery, but the more you put on the more sparkly/glittery it will be. Well worth £1.50. Will definitely buy it again. 5* product. Wet Gloss and Brow Mascara One of (if not the) best clear mascara I have ever used. It holds all day, the eyelashes stay curled and still look natural. Well worth £1.50. Will definitely buy it again. 5* product. Theraputic Conditioning Lip Balm (I have the "Vanilla Crème" one) Amazing product! I've only used it twice today and my lips are so soft. It does feel slightly greasy, but not too much and it is bearable. When you wind it up to use it, don't wind it up too much because it is hard to get down and it breaks easily (as I found out today!). Well worth £1.50. Will definitely buy it again. 5* product. Contouring Blush and Bronzer Compact One of (if not the) worst product I have ever bought. It's much darker "in the flesh" than in the photo on ELF's website. When I put a little bronzer on my face, it looked like I hadn't bothered to wash my face for a few days. The blusher looked like I had put some bright-pink lipstick on my cheeks and rubbed it in. Never ever again will I buy this product and I definitely do not recommend it. 0* product. Total waste of money. |

This might sound a bit silly but has anyone who's super pale had any success with foundation from ELF? Most foundations are too orange, even the "pale"ones, so I'm a bit dubious about getting one online, the price is so attractive though!

I don't have theirs, but friends of mine in the States swear by ELF's eyelash curler. Sure I read a review that it's as good as Shu Uemuda's (sp?
)...

Got my stuff today, arrived quickly. The Punk Purple nail varnish is probably the nicest nail colour I've ever had. The nail varnishes come in a lovely big box too, they look expensive. The Lengthening & Volumizing mascara is as good if not better than Great Lash which I've used for years. The Liquid Eyeliner is fantastic, better than Urban Decay IMO. My only moan is I'm not too keen on that orange fragrance, smells kind of medical to me. Getting lots of bits to try for £20 is fun. Quote:

Review time!
Plumping Lip Glaze in Mocha Ice Leaves a nice subtle sheen on my lips. Would buy again. Natural Radiance Blusher in Glow Love this. The colour is a nice golden tone on my cheeks. Been looking for ages for something like this. Would buy again. Brightening Eye Colour in Ivy Very subtle on me. May look better on white skin tones. Would not buy again. |
