Poor puppy. I'm glad it survived OK and it's a good advert for Dyno-Rod!

I'm surprised the parents would let a 4-year old handle a week-old puppy and to take it out of their sight or away from the pup's mum... but I suppose you only have to turn away for a minute and a child has done something they shouldn't have!

Glad the pup survived, but really, a four year old should know damn well how to handle a pup - I think the boy in this case was perhaps looking for attention?

Thats what got me about this really.....the child should have known not to take the pup off it mum in the first place..I know its hard to keep your eye on them all the time, but he must have it for a while to have enough time to take it for a "walk" around the garden and then flush it down the loo

Poor little thing must have been terrified, I'm glad it all ended ok

I did wonder about this story, as why a one week old puppy would be going out in the garden in the first place?! And why a 4 year old would not know to leave them alone. He surely wouldn't flush his own twin in the loo if he was dirty so why a puppy

Anyway, I am glad the pup is okay and I hope they all learn from the experience! (Not the puppy, obviously, poor little thing!)

Sick bastards.

They should be banned from owning animals, all of them, for life.

I agree and I am worried wondering about whether this family are looking after the rest of their puppies
and adult dogs properly or are they all being pulled around by this young child!

There's another quite heated thread about this too.

It was on our news and they said that the child had taken the pup from the pen when the family had been in the garden or something and whisked him upstairs, I really dont think they should be reported to the RSPCA though........but the child does need (and I think has had) a bloody good talking too and maybe a visit from an RSPCA person would be the person to do it.

How the hell did a kid have easy access to the puppy, the mother and pups should be in a safe and secure place. Bitches are very protective and hormonal whilst nursing puppies,
Bloody irresponsible if the kids can get into where the mother and pups are. What would have happened to the female had she bitten protecting her puppies
