Has anyone heard of or had experience of the following,
I copied some pictures from a usb stick to the Photo partition to try and do a slide show to music, as part of a learning process with the Foxsat HDR. After copying the photos to the Photo partition I changed to the Radio partition.
To my bemusement I saw two folders, one for "The Mentalist" and on for "The Wire" both folders showed that they were empty. Now being somewhat confused I cam out of the partition and made sure that I entered the Radio partition and no my eyes had not deceived me, there they were still sitting there. Very odd.
So I decided to delete them, I changed to the file manager,
The file manager shows has Heading " File Manager(Radio) then the listing below shows HDD:Video and then lists all yes all of my Folders in the Video Partition. Now I am thinking this is very weird. So I the come out of the file manager and exit the media list. I check what is in the Video partition and decided which to try and delete from the Radio Partition and if its not really showing the Radio Partition will not matter if it gets deleted. I chose the Robin Hood folder with 1 episode. In the File manager for the Radio, I should state that all folders are shown as empty. Yes, I guessed correctly when I deleted the folder in the (so, called Radio Partition) it deleted the folder with the episode from the Video partition.
I then decided to do a test recording of a Radio station broadcast; I recorded 2 minutes of Radio 2. Went Back into the media list, changed device and there were the two folders, one for the Mentalist and one for the Wire with the test recording that I had made from the Radio. Now if I go to file manager it shows all of the empty folders (even though they are not empty) as well as my test radio recording.
Answers on a postcard, please to a very confused Foxsat HDR owner!
