Every night I see this tame fox. It has no fear of humans.

It worries me.

It's very possibly a "rescued" fox that has been hand reared, or become used to humans around it, and has then been released.
If intended for release wild young animals should be fed literally at arm's length, with the person out of sight e.g. behind a screen, but many poeple can't resist playing with and handling the cute babies, which is very bad for them when they no longer avoid people once back in the wild
It can also be bad for people as some of these animals are then more inclined to stand their ground and bite people if scared or challenged, rather than nervously run away

My first though was rabies.....since the eurotunnel opened IMO it's only been a matter of time.

Foxes aren't stupid. Your urban fox knows perfectly well that where there's humans, there's food. So long as the humans keep a reasonable distance, the fox is happy to coexist with them, and on these terms, is not afraid of humans. Unless the fox is so tame that it will approach humans and allow them to touch it, I wouldn't be too bothered - the foxes round here are pretty cheeky as well!

There are fox's in the lane at the back of me...there are sometimes one or two out when we take Danny for his evening walk..they don't run ..just watch us walk past

They don't try to approach us, and we try not to make too much noise, so we don't disturb them..personally I love to see them, it always makes my night if we see them...I think they are beautiful

I don't think they would hurt you...they seem to keep themselves to themselves

Agreed. To (probably mis)quote James Herriot "Thank goodness England is an island." Well not any more it isn't. It only takes one rabid bat...

there are actually measures in place when you work with any bats, no matter where they are to be on guard for the rabies virus

To be honest I think it is much more likely to come in from a smuggled cat or dog that may be incubating but not yet displaying the disease, easily done with the tunnel.
