Kerrygold Softer Butter

Anyone use this? We use it now instead of normal butter to have on toast, bread etc but apparently Kerrygold IS real butter, just softer. I dont know how they do it. It doesn't taste like margerine, Gold or Anchor Spreadable (Anchor is more like real butter but is mixed with oil).
But this has no oil in it. At first it took a bit of getting used to (different types of butter taste different to me) but if you take it out the fridge a while before you use it it is fine
I'll stick to this in future. Much easier to spread.

I do buy KG too but not as often. It mainly depends which has the cheapest offer on.

Country Life Spreadable does contain veg oil though.

This happened because once when we're on holiday we bought Lurpak Spreadable butter (or something like that) with salt, which is easier to spread, Didnt Lurpak used to be unsalted?

Used to use this as it has no veg oil in just butter, but they changed the recipe and now it is too soft so back to the real mccoy again.

Store butter in the fridge door if possible as it's the warmest part of the fridge so easier to spread...

Even better, get an insulated butter dish, so you don't have to store butter in the fridge:

I bought this once; it ripped my bread apart. I think it contains water?

Really? It says "100% pure Irish butter" on the tub, leaving it out of the fridge for any length of time does make it go very soft though.

Yes, but that was straight from the fridge. I'm used to using Anchor Lighter Spreadable straight from the fridge and thought - wrongly - that I would be able to spread Kerrygold Softer straight from the fridge too.

Not sure about the ingredients as I won't be buying it again.

Kerrygold has withdrawn this product and expects us to use adulterated crap made with 25% veg oil now.

Come on, all anyone had to do is have the foresight to take the butter out of the fridge 15 minutes before you use it.

Its just not the same It tastes OK but not as good as Softer Butter, and why do they call it Kerrygold Butter with Olive Oil when it has almost 30% veg oil FFS
