A Hundred Million Suns.

It's not that good... not as good as their previous ones.

Does she have the album "Eyes Open"? I recommend that.

A Hundred Million Suns is OK and a bit bland TBH, but Eyes Open and Final Straw are great albums.

Final Straw is by far their best album, followed by Eyes Open. If she doesnt have either of those, then I'd recommend them before A Hundred Million Suns.

I personally think When It's All Over We Still Have to Clear Up is their best album, for me they were much more interesting in the pre-Final Straw days.

Having said that, though, I actually think that Gary Lightbody's best work has been with The Reindeer Section.

Hundred Million Suns is a great album. Probably because it's a more grown up record IMO that's why some people won't like it. Also the fact that it doesn't have Chasing Cars on it, which is the only song anyone knows. Eyes Open IS fantastic too, but I love Hundred Million Suns just as much.

I would recommend all of the last 3 albums to be honest. I bought Songs For Polarbears because I wanted to hear their old stuff but wish I hadn't bothered as it was rubbish.
