I hate 'Oliver'. Sums up many a crap amateur do.

The nadir of 'Oliver' is 'As long as he needs me'. Always done in a cod cockney accent.

Pick a Pocket or two And Be Back Soon and I'd do Anything, I think I like the actual scenes rather than just the songs.

Anything that Oliver doesn't sing. When I'm watching the movie anyways. That obviously-dubbed-girl-voice is just silly.

I like As Long As He Needs Me the most. Purely because I find the Nancy/Bill relationship far more fascinating then the rest of the story.

Be Back Soon.

Although I’m generally not all that keen on the music of Oliver!

I’ve done an amateur production of the show (nearly did it twice but I pulled out of the second one).

And I know someone who was in the actual film, as a dancer. (Do I win?)

Do you know that Mark Lester didn't really sing in the film version. His voice was dubbed with the voice of the Producer's or Director's daughter (can't remember which one). He couldn't sing a note.

My favourite song is Consider yourself. Jack whotsiname was great. He was just turning his life around when he got throat cancer.

Davy Jones of the Monkees played the Dodger in the Broadway production before he joined the Monkees. There was a clip of it on YouTube a while ago.

Great chord progressions, wonderful melody, something you'd know nothing about.

Stick to The Nolans.

I'm still amazed that Lionel couldn't play an instrument and wasn't much of a singer. He must have been able to channel.
