Atomic Kitten - Ladies Night breaks up?
Cow

Hey,

Anyone noticed Atomic Kitten's Ladies Night breaking up all the time? On my Now 56 it seems to screw up near the end of the song, and when my local station plays it, almost every time it mucks up...

It's actually quite funny seeing what the DJs say, "A vast improvement to the song", "They couldn't be bothered tonight", "Our Sound Engineer's New Years Resolution should be to fix that damn thing" etc...

Anyone else experienced this?

Perhaps they are also playing it off Now 56, and it's Now that botched their mastering. Maybe you should take the CD back incase they've fixed it on later copies.

Do radio playstations play songs off those sort of CDs?

Ladies Night isn't on Now 56 is it? I thought it was "If You Come To Me"?

Well, I've heard chris moyles playing older 80s tracks off compilation cds, but that could be radio1 refusing to store old songs. I've also heard them using mini discs.

I personally would have thought radio stations would store their songs on harddrives and use computerised jukebox style setups these days, but if radio1 is anything to go by, perhaps not. And perhaps if most are still using CDs, then maybe compilations are easier to manage *shrug*. I suspect local tinpot radio stations might well do.
