Reccomendations?
Bro

Hey there!

I'm an 18year old girlie (bear with me)
I usually listen to Will Young, basically pop music.
My favourite album is by The Calling an recently I've been listening to a lot of feeder. I also enjoy the clash a little!
Can anyone reccommend any bands down the route of The Calling or ones which I may like like Feeder?
Having just energed from my Smash Hits world I really haven't got a clue!

There's a bear with you?!

Your on a steep slippery path in the right direction now with your music If you like Feeder you'd probably like the Stereophonics, the Thrills, Kings Of Leon, maybe Audioslave, Elbow or Turin Brakes.
Buy yourself a copy of Q instead of Smash Hits from now on.

Yes, I have the Thrills and Stereophonics.
Thanks for the ideas.

If you find you like Audioslave, head directly to Soundgarden
If you have digital tv, try a few of the music channels for ideas: The Amp and Scuzz are good ones to start with...

I'm going to see Franz Ferdinand in February. Their albums not out yet (9 Feb), but the songs I've heard so far look promising.

Get iTunes or Musicmatch Jukebox so you can use their music stores. You can't buy anything yet but you will be able to listen to the previews.

The 'Muse', their new album in quality. You should try them!

Try Katie Melua: Call off the Search.

If it doesn't move you, I'll eat my hat!

It's the best album I've EVER bought.

Her voice is unique.

Only 7.99 at Virgin.

Great gift as so many people like her!

5 star customer review rating on Amazon.

I'll second that. The new album, Absolution, is great.

I'm quite new to Muse, but through music channels and online radio i have got a few favs, including Feeling Good, Plug-in Baby, and the brilliant New Born.

I'd recommend Muse to you Bro..

Agree about Muse. You might want to try Ash or maybe even Doves as well. (Someone suggested Elbow earlier - one of the best albums of 2003 but getting a bit far removed from Feeder.)

But really, don't try the Goo Goo Dolls. No-one should ever have to listen to the Goo Goo Dolls, not even people who like The Calling...
