I'm always absolutely SHOCKED to see stories about cruelty to our lovely pets and I really don't like reading such shocking stories! But whatever makes a person do horrific things to poor defenseless pets? I'll never comprehend!

I've not read the link, but never try to understand other people - you never will. One of my neighbours again allowed her cat to have yet another litter of kittens. This time though, the poor mite only had two. One of them is obviously brain damaged. Probably from being undernourished during pregnancy... it has no sense of balance and is completely unable to stand at all. As soon as it tries, it looks as if it's had a bottle of whiskey and falls with such a tumble it often ends paws up in the air! It doesn't even seem to be able to keep it's head upright in any way. Poor bugger. It's seriously distressing to see it! Anyway my other neighbour kindly took it to the PDSA for her and it got some injections to see if it might help - she was supposed to take it back for the rest and she's just not bothered Instead the wee thing is suffering and should be PTS - but she's doing nothing about it Stupid moron that she is.

I have nothing but contempt for anybody who would harm a defenceless animal or baby...these people are cowards of the lowest order

I haven't read the link either, but anyone who can deliberately hurt an animal is sick. The next step for them is hurting people.

I've read it now. It's sick and whoever did it needs to be caught quickly. Amazingly the cat survived.

People that do things liek that should have the same done to them imho. They make me sick.

I hate to see stories like that, it makes me so angry, and haunts me for ages.

That poor cat. So glad it survived though, but no animal should suffer at the hands of humans like that, it reminds me why I hate people so much and why I would always give priority to an animal.

They so don't deserve to have to live around us.
