I have had a cat for many years I do love her but I think I might of given her to much attention. Shes constanley on my bed, sitting on my laptop and also sits in the middle of the newspaper I try to read any ideas of how to get her to ease of?

She loves you! I would be flattered to have such a loving cat as mine is the same as yours.

When she was a kitten she would follow me into the lavatory.

She still follows me into the bathroom.

Aww she just loves you! Mine is exactly the same - he only sleeps on my bed (or in my room), only sits on my lap and follows me practically everywhere I go. He ignores everyone else.

You should be flattered - building such a relationship with a cat is something to be proud of.

I had a cat just the same, she died a few years ago and I still miss her like mad.
She loved to be carried around on my shoulder surveying her kingdom, slept in my bed under the covers in winter and had the loudest purr I ever heard.
Just enjoy it while you have her, she obviously loves you

I have a clingy one too ,He is a year old but we got him when he was only 5 weeks and he is my shadow .
He follows me everywhere I go and if I stand up from the couch , where he is sprawled in a coma, he jumps up and follows me to the kitchen
He is everywhere I go and if I am in the loo he scratches on the door .!!!
But lately he is going outside and finding that there is a world out there and letting go a bit , Phew
But at least you know he loves you .
