My Idea for a new Cyberman story (with a twist)

How about for the next cyberman story, they all team up form all era's to make a new team of cyberman -- so it would look something like this line up...

I reckon that could be quite an interesting spin for a new cyberman story - what do u think??

Nice line-up there! To be honest though - I still find the ORIGINAL ones the scariest! I know they had cloth-faces and car-headlamps on their heads...but they were creepy!
The new lot were good, but just a bit too 'army-type'.

To tie in with 'the next doctor' I would have the Cybermen from this universe replying to a tranmission from the cybermen from the other universe. Its just took them 150 years to receive and respond to the message.

They could come to ressurect the cyberking and conquer the earth - obviously

Does anyone have a photo of the Cybermen from the proposed Dark Dimension shoot. This was a proposed multi-Doctor story after the show's original cancellation. I am SURE I once saw a photo of a newly designed Cyberman for that shoot and it looked quite menacing.

I like this idea. Though I suspect the Cybermen from different universes would end up in opposition rather than an alliance.

That'll be it. Any idea what the story was - did they make any of these new Cybermen for the show or just a publicity mock up?

Defo a cyber-civil war in the making.

Dont think it was ever used although i would like to see a series of Dark Dr Who stories.

Wiki has a list of some other stories that were never made including one by Mr Fry

I also think they would fight each other. Anyway, watching them having a friendly conversation wouldn't be nearly as good as watching them fight and smash each other up!

bejesus, that is scary. i agree though the early cybermen were scary, they sort of lost that mystique around revenge and never recovered it. i've often thought the closer they look to a real human, the more scary they become, because its easier to see how you might become one...if that makes sense?!?!

This is exactly right. They were too action-figure-y in the new series. If Moffat ever brings them back they should be much more like the originals or (and considering he loves the Davison era this could happen) the Earthshock ones.

Hoepfully even further back than the Earthsock ones.

I actually find the Doomsday/Army of Ghosts Cybermen more closer to the Eartshock ones....

After having recently seen Tomb of the Cybermen....I would prefer them to be like that....don't mind the look of the New Cybermen.....but with the ethos of the Tomb Cybermen....without their "delete" catchphrase.....
