he is playing omega.
this makes sense, because
Spoiler
if he is, he would have to wear a mask, and spoilerfreaks would not know it was him
”

But seeing as no-one has been spotted in a mask either that seems unlikely.

But with RTD who knows!!

Okay something just hit me....although I feel this that it is unlikely if Dalton is involved.....but in the TSOD and TLOTTL, we also saw Time Lords....but as a flashback......so it could be possible that even this time round we don't have Time Lords back live and kicking either.....but just flasbacks....

although like I said, with Dalton involved chances are that he won't be playing a few seconds of flashback....and if it is a flashback....it will be a very significant one, with more screen time than the scenes in TSOD and LOTTL.....

I think Gallifrey is returning personally -just a feeling I have ...just seems right and good scope for a modern take on Gallifrey. And we have TD in those robes
...as you say with all RTD's talk of dream sequences and layers of fantasy that means we can't take that photo as proof of a return for the timelords -but some of the stuff we've seen filmed and leaked in photos has to happen to Ten surely ..can't all be dreams i'd have thought .

so maybe Gallifrey will be real ..

I agree. I think over the next 6 months we'll see more and more about the Time Lords and Gallifrey. I doubt they'd be celebrating 40 years of Gallifrey if it was gone for good.

Maybe going back into the time-locked time war to change history causes the Doctor to go a little bit crazy and weak.

I don't think it will be a dream sequence either. I'm thinking along the lines that the knocking is from the TimeLords maybe asking for help, to undo what has been done, giving the Doctor permission to undo what has been done. And that it takes 4 knocks for him to decide that it's worth the risk, but the risk in the end costs him his life.

Should I have spoilered that? It was only speculation.

I think "it" is probably Gallifrey -hopefully ... other things or places could return of course but Carmen did seem to put significance on this "it" ..

"is returning" does refer to something the Doctor cares for and believes lost I think ..

the 4 knocks ..I think thats going to be Rose's Doctor knocking on the TARDIS door in The waters of Mars .. I think the 4 knocks is maybe going to herald the two Doctors meeting again ..

Spoiler

Not an alternative, but a replacement i.e. doc no. 12. Matt Smith not to even survive an episode

I didn't realize Bob Monkhouse was such a slow talker.

If he was coming back as James Bond then yes massive publicity event. He's not so in my opinion it's a sort of oh that's nice type of affair. Now Clint Eastwood as a guest star would be amazing and should be kept tip top.
