BBC News report a police box coming back into use.

The Chamaeleon circuit didn't break, the TARDIS just wanted to be a trend setter

We still have one on Scarborough sea front...the council moved it a few years ago....about fifty yards (obviously the 'short-trip circuit' wasn't working!). I knew a guy (traffic warden!) that had a key for it....he used to slap a ticket on a car...then run and hide in the Police-Box! The wimp that he was! Hello Paul if you are reading this!!

We still have them in Glasgow... they have been converted into coffee kiosks for about five years now!

There is one outside the police station in Wetherby, should any of you ever be bored driving up or down the A1

A Police Box it may be, but it definitely isn't the TARDIS type of Police Box. Looks nowt like a TARDIS!

That might be true of cause. But then again I'd bet even the TARDIS type police box looks nothing like the original police boxes?.

The ones in Glasgow are very TARDIS like. Although these are not the same as the very first Police Boxes (which were hexagonal, I think), these are originals which were in use once.
