Swede as cough medicine
stud u like
23-06-2009
I was talking to a friend last night and he said cut the skin off a swede and then cover the flesh in sugar, put it in a bowl in the fridge and then in the morning drink the juice.

Has anyone tried this?

Sounds like something from a witches covern! New to me I'm afraid.

Not swede, but I have heard of the same thing with onion.

Peel from an onion and bring to boil with some water. Then remove from heat, cover and let it seep. Once it's seeped, pour it into a cup with a little bit of honey (or sugar if you really want) and drink the syrup.
