So there's talk (started in the Mirror, so not sure how much credence to give it, although it is a reasonably well written article) that

Spoiler
This year there will be a 15 minute special to feature all surviving Doctors, and the 11th Doctor in his debut AND video footage of those who are no longer with us

sure there will...

Spoiler
the daleks will be there, with a female davros in a bad blondie wig. the daleks will threaten the universe with similarly atrocious haircuts unless they submit!

seriously though, if its true then thats one for the books! the 7/8 doctors! (if this is true and if paul mcgann can be bothered to turn up)

edit: just read the article
Spoiler
"Three years ago, Piper and Tennant filmed a show in Barcelona for Children in Need..."

i dont remember that!

Well written junk, I think.

At least the Sun has some history of getting stuff mostly right. If it's from the Mirror or the Star, there's no such pedigree.

Wasn't it the Mirror who said David Beckham would be in "Rose"?

if a segment hasn't been specially filmed for CIN then I would imagine they will show an exclusive clip/trailer for the Christmas specials. just a guess on my part.

Nah theres no truth in this I don't think -Smith's entrance into the show won't be like that -would be a real "next doctor" scenario. Not saying it can't be done but just seems unlikely to me as viewers it will be hoped will bond with Smiths Doctor and that will be made more difficult if he first appears telling Ten or with Ten ..viewers knowing he evolves from his death... -nah can't see it.If Smith takes over the TARDIS some other way would be different ..but if he enters the show via the regeneration of the Tenth Doctor I just can't see him appearing in in a 2009 multi Doctor episode ..

Anyway not a fan of multi Doctors -and there would be far too many in this scenario.I'd always wanted to see Ten and Four together ..but if it was this way i'd probably give it a miss rather than be disappointed as i'm sure I would be with so many characters each needing their say and only 15 minutes ..

Doubt this is true anyway ...surely something like this would be for DW's 50th .. ?

How gullible would someone have to be to belive this rubbish?

" This is not the first Doctor Who special. Three years ago, Piper and Tennant filmed a show in Barcelona for Children in Need, while the first festive special aired on Christmas Day 2005."

'nuff said.

Having that TARDIS sure comes in handy sometimes!

And here's exactly the same story (minus Matt Smith) for last year's CIN.

It's good to recycle your garbage!

I think the real explanation is shoddy research. The lazy journo probably just watched the pre-credits flashback on the 2005 special. It ends with the Doctor remembering the planet Barcelona: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHdR4PgeEQo

"Ooh, he just said Barcelona. Therefore it must be a special about the Doctor and Rose visiting Barcelona. That'll do, I've seen enough to know exactly what it's about."

It's in the Telegraph as well. I agree that's it's very unlikely to happen.

How many times have we heard this one before...

but...

On the other hand...

How Frackin' excellent would it be if they could finally get everyone together for one last hurrah?!!

I get the feeling that Tom and Paul would go for it, if only to put it to bed . Plus the fact it would be for Char-i-dee..

If the great god Dyzan is listening, or RTD. MAKE IT HAPPEN!!! Please let it be true..

Just this time, everybody..Turns up!
