Taking inspiration from "The Mind Robber" the production team have decided to do an episode in which The Doctor & companion turn up in a soap. This can be any soap currently showing & a maximum of five soap characters can be used. All characters must be currently appearing in the soap that you choose.

I don't really watch soaps anymore, so not can't really answer the question...

They'd appear in Neighbours! And they'd bump into Elle, Susan, Lucas, Donna and Karl.

Elle would become a full time companion.

Well, I haven't watched any soaps in years. However, I would choose General Hospital, because that was one that I watched faithfully as I grew up. I don't know who's currently appearing, and they had a cull of characters semi-recently, but I think Alan Quartermaine, Tracy Quartermaine, Scott Baldwin, Sonny Corinthos, and Edward Quartermaine are still all there.

As long as the Doctor doesn't meet Robin Scorpio. I really hate Robin. Good Lord, according to IMDB Robin is now a doctor. What a joke! I stopped watching when her character purposely infected herself with HIV just because she loved her HIV-infected boyfriend so much. Of course the boyfriend died and Robin is alive. Why would anyone want her as a doctor? Maybe the TARDIS could "accidentally" land on her and put me out of my misery.

Sorry, I'll rant elsewhere...

I'd have Elle, Paul, Donna, Ringo and Bridget. The last two just to see the Daleks (or other characters) kill them off.

Agree with your comment about Elle. Unfortunately Pippa left it too late to announce that she is leaving, if she'd only done it 2 months earlier who knows what might have occurred. She is a fabulous actress, and I wouldn't be surprised if Hollywood is beckoning for her.

Hmm, other than Karl and Susan no idea who the others are as it has been 5 years or so since I saw neighbours, but I'd go back to the classic era of Neighbours so that Alan Dale can improve his already impressive CV.....

Cast also to include Guy Pearce and Bouncer The Dog!

oh and Paul Robinson (Steffin Dennis)could be the super villian as well....some sort of plan to conquer the world by turning the Lassisters complex in to a nuclear weapons site or something...

I'm shocked I'm joint top of the leader board. There have been a lot of rounds where I though my predictions would be eliminated.

As for the question, either Neighbours or Eastenders as they're the only two I watch.

Neighbours with Donna, Elle, Susan, Paul and Lucas. I've chosen Paul, Elle and Lucas because it could be something to do with the newspaper and them reporting strange happenings. Donna and Susan would be there because I like their characters

I'm not sure for Eastenders but one would have to be Peggy just so she could tell them to get out of her pub

Oh and Wryip keep watching Neighbours, that's all I'm saying

Afraid I can't answer the question this time as I don't really watch soaps.

Glad to see the Daleks gone, I think they deserved to go a while ago. They're just not that impressive in large groups (still think the lone dalek was excellent though). I'm sure the Daleks can be made to work better than they have done so far though- but not by bringing in so many that they should be impossible to stop without a convenient button/lever/glowy effect. To be fair I didn't mind it so much at the end of series 1 as we did see some good moments there and the Bad Wolf arc was well thought out, everything to do with it had been signposted through the series- also the Daleks were only on the way to Earth, so we didn't need to worry about everyone seeing them or a large part of the population being wiped out (and it was in the future anyway). But the others, particularly the Dalek control buttons in Journey's End, were just a bit silly.

I agree - if only everyone else did and the daleks had gone instead of the lone dalek I'd have had 7/7 instead of 6/7 lol! I'm quite happy for a first attempt though, thanks again for running it all RK, was quite concerned where you had gone yesterday!

As for soaps, hmm Eastenders has already been done really, even if it was a little disjointed

So maybe it is time for our lovely young doctor and his companion to head to Hollyoaks - they should fit right in I can forsee some great comedy moments with Carmel or Michaela Not sure that villan Claire would get very far though! Maybe Steph and Zac or even little Tom - a child actor who can act, steady on! Or perhaps Kris should give the new Doctor outfit advice?

I thought it was due to end yesterday so didn't bother checking it until after the 8pm deadline. It was opnly at that point that I realised that the deadline had been on Monday. Duh!

Now that we're down to the last 8 is how much more difficult this Survivor is than the previous one where I had two clear favourites who happily came out first and second but I'm finding it really difficult to think of my top 3 enemies as I cannot make up my mind as all ones left are so good or should I say bad?

I suppose that's the peril of playing the prediction game as well!

Nope....that should be "lucky"....as that is all it was.....trust me!

And No matter who goes next round....I will be down to 6!!!! So there is a downside....yes i am ever so the pessimistic!



As for the question, I don't really watch any soaps much except for recently I have been watching Doctors....due to the Mental Health story they had going, and they only thing remotely watchable in the day....and even though the presence of our Doctor could liven up the place....he will just be another Doctor....amongst Doctors....so pointless suggestion really....unless ofcourse that surgery is taken to the Moon!....but been there done that!

Just checked & you're correct. I had you down on the between clever chick & crazzyaz7 on the Prediction sheet & for some reason I've read all three of your scores as 7 when your's is clearly 6. Duh!
