Have been looking on the Grandefratello website and the Canale 5 website but they don't have any mention of the start of GF5. Plus they both still carry the link for the application forms.

Well... The internet is all well and good but you really can't beat the old fashioned sources for television gossip.. In this case, my mother who saw a trailer on Canale 5 over the weekend

I can confirm that Grandefratello is being advertised on Italian Canale 5. I just caught the end of the ad.
Not speaking a word of Italian I didn't realise it was on as I was at the keyboard but looked up as I heard "Grandefratello" ,by which time it was just the logo so I'd missed the rest of the details.
