The sandwich lady at work had sold out of my normal pasta salad today so I took a walk to Philpotts thats has just opened in town and I must say - I was impressed.

You pick you salad base (rice, cous cous, pasta or salad leaves) and then choose what you want mixed with it.

It was most lovely, and all lovely and fresh and made in front of you. A little pricey (£4) but thats about what I spend on lunch anyway.

Anyone else tried them? I had the poached salmon with pasta

Never tried their salads, only their soup and sandwiches which are delicious

Never heard of them. Are they a Northern company?
