'ITV is to launch a Big Brother-style quiz show in which contestants will be locked in a house and bombarded by questions.
The 24-Hour Quiz will see competitors enter a specially-built Quiz House in which up to £2,500 a day can be won.
Outsiders will compete to replace them in the house in the series in which £122,500 will be up for grabs, reports TV Plus.
A spokeswoman said: "It does sound mad but should be fantastic to watch. It's all about people trying to get into the house to win the money and staying ahead of the game.
"There are Big Brother elements with people locked into a house, but this is a reality quiz show and not an entertainment show."
It's set to begin in the middle of next month with dozens of hopefuls being whittled down to just seven.
A Quiz House and studio is being set up at a secret location for the project. A presenter has yet to be announced.'
