The Topfield 5800 PVR is a digital terrestial pvr,(requires a aerial).
The Humax Foxsat PVR,is a digital satellite pvr(requires a satellite dish).
The Foxsat PVR can receives hundreds of channels:http://www.wildsat.com/freetoair.doc

Currently the channel choice on Freeview is BETTER than Freesat. Freesat is the solution if you want free HD TV (limited) or you get poor terrestrial reception.
