I think you need to not get too excited least you be wrong, tbh. I'd hardly say the layout of the site is proof of anything, especially not this fair in advance....

Perhaps some former villains such as the Monk, Omega and Morbius are involved in the finale.

Very unlikely, but would be sooo cooool!!!!

Oh, I just saw Donna again on the website

I'm sorry ... I'd rather watch a Donna spin-off than Doctor Who, I really would

I agree....very unlikely so far in advance......

But saying that, I do like how the BBC...or the DW team at least, like to add fuel to the fire....especially with the word "apparently" appearing on the demise of some of the characters

The clip of The War Games may not be too much of a coincidence , what with it shortly being released on DVD!

I think that clip was put there to make me feel better that the Doctor also thinks the Time Lords are useless and boring.....which is the conclusion I came to after watching the Deadly Assassin!!!

Ohh yes, in 2007 there was The Master (New Beginnings) boxset, 2008 there was the Davros boxset...there's definately a pattern!

Thing is, there's a downside really. It'd be great to see the Time Lords ticked off with the Doc for blowing them up 'supposedly', but the disappearance of Gallifrey and the events surrounding it has done wonders to the Doc's mysteriousness in new-Who. To bring them back for good would be like tying a string around the Doc's collar and tying it to the post outside the shop which is Time Lord society.

I hope they are brought back in some bizarre fashion but they should soon disappear again. Perhaps they do come back, but instead of the Doc sacrificing them again for the greater good and having to put up with survivor's guilt, the Time Lords do it themselves, forgive the Doctor for his actions and accept his lifestyle.

If they come back I'd like them back for good. I don't think they were ever too much of a leash on the Doctor. He was pretty mysterious and eluded them for much of the old series. I think going into a new era it would be nice that the 11th Doctor is not the only Time Lord.

On the other hand, I was thinking that maybe the Doctor has to sacrifice himself to save the Time Lords. As sort of a self imposed punishment for killing them in the first place. So 10 sacrifices himself, but the Time Lords are destroyed again anyway.

Yeah, it was revamped months ago - I don't know why they're now using the 2005-2009 logo instead of the 1996 one.

If they do come back I'd like to see them annoyed at what the Doctor did and possibly being responsible for the death of ten, though not in a forced regeneration way. Although RTD's comments might allow for that but I doubt they'd repeat the idea.

The Timelords were a bit weak in the old series. If they come back for a long run, I'd like them to maybe be tracking the Doctor down a'la the troughton years, with 11 constantly eluding them. Make them the enemy.
